marisacarpico's review against another edition
4.0
Fascinating to see the way Revel refines his style even within this volume, but especially between volumes. His figures are slightly sharper and his sense of movement is somehow even swifter. There’s a decluttering going on here that lets the reader understand each panel with just a glance. Can’t wait to read 3 as I remember it being a low-key masterpiece that is almost completely nonverbal. Clayton’s narration can grate and Revel is perhaps too reliant on it. We retread quite a bit of ground here and his actions and what he says during the actual combat are far more telling. Hope he kept that in mind for 4.
