Cash James and Grace Kensington had a love story written in the stars - at least until it all came crashing down around them. Devastated from the loss of Cash, Grace is hanging on by a thread. She must learn to navigate life as a newly single woman, and without the man who had come to mean everything to her. Meanwhile, Cash is reeling from Grace’s betrayal, and has drowned himself in drink in order to cope with his feelings. Everything was once perfect between them, and now it’s all shattered. Can these two broken souls find their way back to each other before it’s too late?

Okay, so this second part of the Falling for Whiskey duet was highly emotional and agonizingly angsty. Cash and Grace’s love story was complicated from the start, but now they’ve lost their way. I loved everything about this novel, even though I cried more than once by the time I was done with it. It was beautifully written, and the plot twists had me screaming. Cash and Grace’s relationship had its ups and downs, but I was rooting for them all the way. I thought this book was an incredible conclusion to the duet, and that Brittanee Nicole is an amazing writer.

Cash. I had so many feelings about him in this novel, and not all of them were good. Cash is complicated man, especially once you take in his family and his billionaire status. There were times when I wanted to hit him, but he redeemed himself in the end. Grace. Oh my gosh, this poor woman needs all the hugs. She’s so incredibly strong, and I was super proud of her for learning her self worth. I admire her business sense and her bravery. Their chemistry was as intense as always, and all in all, I would recommend!

Cash really worked it for it in this book and Grace made him. Cash worked to better himself and work through his problems of the past that were effecting his ability to have a good relationship with Grace.
The way Cat and Grace form a friendship is great. The happy ending was all worth it.

The elements the author added to this to add drama where things were already dramatic (unrealistic drama too) dropped my rating down. Would probably have DNFed if I wasn’t almost done with it.

Angel & Whiskey

Okay, book two was much better development wise. Entertaining but it still didn’t grab me as hard as I thought it would. Series overall for me (book one and two) is prob 3.5/5 stars.

I skimmed in a lot of places because I just wanted it to come to an end but I’m glad I still finished!!
