This was very good and a quick read! It never gave me an “oh my gosh” moment though. I feel that the author gave away too much too early- but I enjoyed it and am glad I read it!

I was very iffy about this book and kept going back and forth on how I wanted to rate it. It wasn’t a book I would be first to recommend, the storyline was incredibly predictable where it could be and then the rest of it was just totally bizarre and unrealistic. Not really a fan - I think a 2 star may even be high.

A refreshing thriller that really had me at the edge of my seat. 20 pages in I came up with a theory that by chapter 26 I was convinced I had correct. Then, around 75% in I also thought I had more confirmation. And then at 83%, one sentence blew my theory out of the water. I definitely can admit that I watch too much true crime to come up with the theory that I did. The ending did have me close to tears as I found it wholesome. Definitely a good worthwhile read.
