It's Perfect; Anything less would be a disappointment.
Jokes aside, reading the script allowed me to appreciate the intricately crafted narrative by the Nolans, as well as how they used simple dialogue to set up character traits, foreshadowing and conflicts.
Joker often makes visual and other references to dogs, who were able to 'hurt' the Batman.
One Throw away line from Rachel's letter pays off during the final confrontation.
And in hindsight, Harvey's inner darkness is beautifully foreshadowed in his descent into madness.
