This is the 1st Ram Dass book I have read. I did watch the Ram Dass documentary 'Fierce Grace' before reading the book, so was familiar with some of Ram Dass's background. I assumed the book would be a quick read because it is about 300 pages. The book is intense and deep on so many levels and I found myself having to stop to really let what I had just read sink in. I found the book while looking for another book at the library, never checked out the other book and glad I found Be Love Now. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I love Ram Das, this wasn't my favorite...I think having read a lot of his works this is just a review of that. It also had me longing for the opportunity to have met his guru in India.

Starts out pretty good but then it just ends up with stories about times with his Guru. Those are unique and can be interesting if you are a fan of Ram Dass as a person but they lack, for me, the information I was seeking from a book with this title.

Ram Dass's anecdotes of parts of his spiritual journey. This was my first book by Ram Dass, and it would have been helpful to know a bit about him and his teachers before starting this, but I caught on. Hope to experience the earlier books at some point.
