Immersive setting. Interesting characters. The plot was so intricate and mysterious sometimes I was like, "wait, what is happening right now?"
Only gripe is that it did seem a bit like a British guy glamorizing the "exotic orient." There were a few moments when I sort of rolled my eyes at how he imagined the women in the harem.
