This book was so freaking good. And that twist towards the end? Never saw that coming in a million years. I can’t wait for the second book.

This was a great enemies to lovers story. Kept my attention from beginning to the end. The surprise twist towards the end was shocking. Something I did not expect.

3.5-4 stars. This was a wild ride from start to finish. I struggled understanding or feeling the connection between the FMC and MMC for the first chunk, but then it picked up and I couldn’t put it down.

This is a Shanora Wiliams stan account! I eat upp these books lol. This plot was plotting. The only underdeveloped piece for me was the relationship. It feels like they randomly went from 0 to 100 with very little moment in between with them truly falling for one another. There were some moments, but nothing that made it truly clear that they were forming such a strong bond. I think based on both their histories this strong connection is very possible but I felt like their on-page time felt like it was missing some development. Despite that all, I really enjoyed the connection between these two it was truly giving enemies-to-lovers vibes and god did it feel like Wolf hated her at the start. He was mean, but it was clear to me he was being mean to play a part. Just yeah, this was so good. I am excited to forget this whole plot and read it again next year lol.
