OH how this book deserves a less nondescript title!! OH it is a psalm, an invocation, a poem written in the friendly but hortative second person - it is a Shine On You Crazy Diamond written for babies and turtles instead of, uh, Syd Barrett. Rejoice in the rain! Listen for spring! Do not lose heart!

This is exactly what I needed to read after this desperate plague ridden isolated grimy winter. Happy springtime.

Super cute illustrations! I liked it, but definitely feel like the author missed an opportunity to say the first day of spring is called the equinox and that the end of spring (or first day of summer is called solstice). Wish that had been added in - even at the end on a separate page.
