Tempe is called away to a case where a 9 year old girl has been killed in some biker gang fight. Another girls remains are then found on a beach. Just what is going on with the bikers?

I'm slowly making my way through this series and this is my favourite one so far. The mystery to what was going on with the bikers and how Tempe's nephew, Kit, was involved made it intriguing reading.

I did find Tempe slightly over protective of Kit, but finding out the things about the bikers that she did, I guess I would be the same. Plus, with parents like his he needed someone looking out for him.

Although I don't quite understand some of the scientific things that Tempe does, her actual job fascinates me.

Looking forward to the rest in the series.

History + mystery = a very good read. This series has that homey feeling I love-engaging characters and an involving plotline with beautifully detailed writing that pulls me in.

Siiiigghhhh. I am a HUGE Bones the tv show fan. I saw that Kathy Reichs produces all the episodes so I had really high hopes for the book series! So far they are just been okay. This one I struggled to get through. It could totally have to do with the fact that the character of Bones is SO different than the character in the books. I am attached to the tv series characters and must admit am so far disappointed in the Dr. Brennan of the book. It is hard to judge what my thoughts would have been had I read these first. I will continue on... but am taking a small break.

I am an avid Kathy Reichs fan and this is a great book. It focuses on motorcycle clubs in Montreal Canada and those who have lost their lives during a war between clubs. Kathy does a great job in making sure her readers understand the jargon and process of investing death and bones.

The only reason this book is 4 stars is due to the last 100 pages, I flew through them, they had me on the edge in my seat and flipping the pages as quick as I could.

The rest of the story felt slightly sluggish. There was a lot of information that I feel I didn’t completely understand and I was completely confused by trying to remember which biker gang was connected to which.

Overall a good third instalment to the Bones series which has left me with hopes and unanswered questions going into book 4.
