I liked the writing style of this book but not the structure. It jumped around so many perspectives and in non-chronological order, and even between first and third person. It's basically just a series of vignettes in the lives of four generations of a family, and the last third of the book is mostly focused on someone who's not even in the family. I wanted to like this but I don't think the author accomplished what she had intended to.
