Such a nice little read for Doctor Who fans, especially since it was "made" by the Eleventh Doctor, which reminds me of the good old times <3

A quick and fun little book full of inside jokes. Quirky and silly just like the 11th Doctor. If you're looking for something that's the equivalent of watching a new episode look somewhere else. This book is to be flipped through and enjoyed and it's geared toward younger fans. Being a not so young fan, though, I still had fun reading it.

Well, it wasn't what I expected. It certainly wasn't a "How-to" guide. But I loved it anyway! I'm really only into the newer seasons of Doctor Who, not the classic episodes, so I really have no background in the history of Gallifrey and other influential Time Lords and how a TARDIS works. This book resented that kind of relevant information in a fun and easy-to-read format, much better than the Wikipedia articles I have to skim through to find stuff out. The writing style itself did seem a little juvenile... like other reviewers have mentioned, it's for sure geared towards a younger audience, but that minor complaint wasn't enough to make me dislike the book! I actually wish that the book included some of the "original" topics that have been "edited" or replaced by the Doctor, but what was there was a great read, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with fellow Whovians!

Fun little book. Loads of illustrations. A Christmas gift from my daughter. There does seem to be some confusion on GR as to the target audience. It is published by BBC Children’s Books, and is probably well-suited to an adolescent. But I think it’s fun for any Whovian, especially since it’s written from the perspective of the 11th Doctor, who is a bit juvenile. Also a bit endearing to me because I first became a Whovian during the run of the 11th Doctor.

In summary: just good fun, some trivia, and tons of photos and art. What’s not to enjoy? Anyone expecting an academic treatise on the rules of being a time lord will not find that here. But then again, would the 11th Doctor ever write an academic treatise?

It's a really funny book. When I first read about it I thought it was cool, then when I saw it I couldn't wait to read it. Now that I've read it I may consider re-reading it because I loved it. And one quote from Doctor Who comes to my mind when I see this book: "There's no point being grown-up if you can't be childish sometimes".

Really short, and yet adorable. It was a fun read and didn't take me long to get through.

It's a really fun read, but while you definitely get a retelling of everything that's happened to the Doctor so far (POV of the 11th Doctor), you don't necessarily learn many new things about Time Lords. Nonetheless, it's super fun, has tons of pictures and even some certificates at the end. Definitely enjoyable for all Whovians out there!
