This story had me swooning the entire time. The history between Delilah and Macon and how they grow together. And Macon’s package to her after prom?! And his letters?! Had me crying like a baby. It’s always the books that the characters had a rough childhood that get me. And although these two are like oil and fire the sparks are so bright and beautiful.

This book had me at ‘Sebastian York!!’ He is a phenomenal narrator and every book I’ve chosen to listen to that he is narrating, I really enjoy! I chose to read this book and was overjoyed to get the audible also and then realising that Sebastian is narrating Macon Saint, made my day. Now obviously I know that the book must be good for me to enjoy it, but he adds his own magic to them and really brings the character to life. I feel like I can trust the book if he is a narrator for it. Together, the narrators did a great job.

I enjoy a little angst and ‘enemy to lovers,’ is consistently a trope that I love. Greatly written! I give this book 3.5 stars and I look forward to reading more from this author.
