This was a great read! I think I saw this book on a booktubers channel a long time ago and when I stumbled upon it, I decided to give it a go. Classic story about appreciating what you have in the present and how changing one minor detail of your life might have changed everything (and not always in a good way). The art was great, the house spirit and the use of mushrooms were creative. This story really engrossed me for some reason and I appreciate it for doing that. I would recommend it if you are looking for an easy and entertaining read!

As usual, Bryan Lee O'Malley's work is on point. The conflict resolution was a little quick and weird but other than that I enjoyed this book a lot. The art alone is worth the price of the book. You can't go wrong with it BUT if you haven't read Scott Pilgrim yet, read that first, fall in love with Bryan's work, and THEN read Seconds.

A quick read, but no less thoughtful (graphic novels are like that sometimes). Chef Katie, age 29 feels stuck with past mistakes while trying to step forward, and suddenly finds a means to go back and correct one mistake at a time... then perfectionism goes awry. A thoughtful consideration of all of the "what ifs" that stem from choices made, and the harm from dwelling too much in the homes of the past instead of the future.
