I am going to start this review off by saying that single dad is one of the only tropes that I hate to read. With that being said, I am so glad that I went ahead and read it. The way that Kandi weaved Ava, Will and Chloe together but also had Will and Chloe as the main focus was Fantastic. I enjoyed learning about Will and Ava’s story before Chloe and experiencing it after they met.

There was so much growth in this book. Not just from Will, Chloe and Ava but quite a few side characters as well Chloe was so relatable, and I loved learning more and more about her. Will was so reliable and constant with Ava and his team but also a HOT Daddy! 🔥😍

I knew that I would love this book before I started it because I know that with Kandi’s writing style and plots that I am going to read most likely another favorite read again and again! I don’t know how she does it, but each book gets better than the previous one. Kandi has become one of my go-to and favorite authors to read.

Another hockey hottie for the books! Daddy P is exactly that, what a babe. Will has been through a lot and is a serious scared and loving MMC. Chloe is vibrant and caring bringing those she cares about out of their shells. Will is legitimately down bad crying at the gym for Chloe. They both are twisted up in their feelings while simultaneously building this deep connection under the guise of an agreement. I loved seeing how they supported one another while also working through their own personal journey to overcome their hang ups. We also just discuss how Ava is the sweetest little kiddo. I just loved her and her relationship with Will and Chloe grow as she opened up. Honorable mention to Arushi, Kandi please give us a novella with her and Uncle Mitch’s story!! I recommend this for fans of the single dad x nanny trope or hockey romances. You will regret not picking this one up.

Pearl Clutchers Beware because this story is so hot I combust a few times. Kandi Steiner has created another sensational, sexy entry into the Saga of Kings of the Ice. And it's the chilliest of them all, the man with the flow, Daddy P. or Will Perry.

Daddy P. is down on his luck because he can't find a nanny who doesn't need to be micromanaged and isn't in it just to slide into his pants.

Chloe Knott is a Kindergarten Teacher with a heart of gold and a can do attitude. She sees what needs to be done and does it. The next thing she knows, she's moving into Will Perry's Pool House Apartment and becoming a full-time nanny for his daughter - a position that pays very well and allows her to payoff her student loans and give back to her family.

What neither expected was the physical attraction between them. The red hot seering attraction that leads to a bargain. Can they keep that part a secret? No catching feelings? Or is this a house of cards waiting to ruin a run for the Stanley Cup and break a heart and reinforce everything generations of women in Chloe's family have said: "Men are trash".

Read this book if you love:

🏒 Grumpy/Sunshine
🏒Single Dad with a great kid
🏒Osprey Hockey Team Found Family
🏒A Curvy FMC who isn't afraid to ask for what she wants
🏒A Bossy Chef 👩‍🍳
🏒A MMC who learns to live again
🏒A Mouthy Winger Who Gives It Straight

I'm already looking forward to Book 4! This one was so good. Book 4 is going to be epic!

(There is mention, and this has already been established, of Will's wife dying. There is also a medical trauma but definitely no gore.)

Thank you to Valentine PR and the author for a gifted copy in exchange for an honor review.
