Massacre'ade Party was a thrilling read that kept me hooked at every turn.

This book has many great aspects about it: the thickening plot, the realistic characters, the out of the ordinary situations, and the splash of romance. With all of these wonderful attributes combined, LK Scott created a fantastic, addicting novel.

To begin with, the plot is excellent. The book does start out kind of slow, but once the pace quickens a few chapters in, it just doesn't stop! It becomes instantly addicting, and each twist and turn is unexpected. Each chapter brings more information to the ever growing mystery. Luckily, this author tied it up nicely at the end and all of the facts make sense, unlike some novels. When you reach the end, the ending does not come out of nowhere and is well planned out (the ending fits with the novel, is fully explained and does not leave the reader hanging or confused).

Also, the characters were realistic within their extraordinary setting. Most of this story is involved inside of a Go-Go dancing club, which means most of the characters have large personalities to match the setting.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There wasn't much I would want changed in the novel. Perhaps a sequel could make this into an expansive universal because I'd like to see more of Jesse (the main characters roommate), but there wasn't anything extremely wrong with the novel.

Five out of five stars!
