Unfortunately I wasn’t invested in this story, which is a shame because I really wanted to love it. I just didn’t connect with it and found myself just wanting to finish it as I didn’t want to give up after reading almost half, so I pushed on.

Det tar ett tag att få grepp om alla karaktärerna. Men till slut får man ihop det hela.
Det är dock inte en typisk julbok som man kanske förväntar sig.
För mig är det en seg läsning. Det är så mycket runtomkring som inte har fokus på jul och vinter vilket var det jag hade förväntat mig särskilt med tanke på titeln.
Jag är ändå glad att jag läste klart boken.
Jag hoppas dock att fortsättningen är bättre.

Just found there were way too many characters and the plot was very slow paced. Sadly not my favourite read.

Sorry, 2 stars feels quite harsh but I was expecting it to be far more Christmassy but there was a couple of depressing moments.

Cute story with some very touching moments, particularly the parts about Cat's Mum. The story follows 4 people from the last year to the present day. Well worth a read.

The jumping back and forth in time was confusing. Plus, the ending was so quick and had all loose ends conveniently tied up. Not sure I'd recommend this.

Iba a ponerle 4* pero tengo que quitarle una porque me costó bastante engancharme, tanto cambio de personajes sin aparente relación al principio me liaba mucho. Eso sí, cuando ya los conoces y la historia coge ritmo y empiezan a cruzarse todos los personajes mejora. Otra cosa que no me ha gustado demasiado es que la autora repite muchas cosas, y me ha llegado a aburrir un poco leer lo mismo una y otra vez. Pero en general me ha gustado, así que 3 estrellas y media.
