Helena and Liam ... Do I really need to explain ?
I always loved Helena and her enthusiasm, her freak side of the trigger x) but here it's just magic !!
This short-story (too short for my taste) is a new way to rediscover the characters that we know well and that we totally love (especially Bruno,Kirian's father, Lucy's mother and especially her grand-mother who easily makes us understand where Lucie inherited her daredevil genes)

This! This is the kind of prequel I wanted. Liam and Helena, back in the beginning, before their relationship even started. Helena was fierce even back then, it totally explains her personality. Also finding out she named her son after her brother, so sweet. I loved seeing Bruno too, just another one of the lost children, it's easy to see how he would have ended up so loyal to the family. Lucys mum was even there, though it took me a while to figure that one out. The only thing that could have made this better is if there was more of it, possibly pick up two years later at the end perhaps. I like the way they don't totally ignore the age gap and how Liam talks about being a dirty old man, it made me giggle, they aren't ignoring it they are just accepting that when it comes to vampires age differences are inevitable.

Everything in this happened a little too quickly for my tastes, but it was still fun and I do love Helena, and this is the first time I've really seen an author have characters address the age issue between a teenager and an ancient (okay, 81-year-old in this case) vampire being together, even if it was a brief conversation. So I appreciated that.

I'm torn on 3 & 4, and even 3.5. I am super in love with the parents from the series, so I loved getting to see more of how they became who they were. Except I'm so so so left wanting more. This is the promise of the whole world about to unfurl in front of them "in two years" and I want to know everything. But then that's true of every single part of The Drake Chronicles. I want to know everything about everything everywhere in this whole world and timeline and etc. Forever. End without end.

I love Alyxandras short stories, they are so amazing and they leave you wanting more. It's awesome to know how Helena & Liam met and how she was before becoming Liam's wife and having children. So amazing 5 stars!!!

In love with this series. I love it so much. Helena and Liam are just adorable though part of me does wish we can get more of the story you know? When he returned for her. How she changed from how she was a lost girl till now. Of course we know about her through out the rest of the series but I would like to read it through Helena's or Liam's mind. Still amazing <3
