A 70 year old murder and a case of missing gold couriers. This Phyrne Fisher mystery focuses on the gold rush era of Australia (A period of history that I don't know much bout tbf). I found the historical details fascinating and appreciated the greater look we got into Lin Chung's family and character.

I enjoyed this book. It was cool to see all those connections with the past emerge and influence the present. I wish there had been more of Dot and Inspector Robinson though!
