Firrst off I am biased because I don't love Ana Huang's writing, but they always seem to hook me just like Twisted Lies. This book is chessy and unrealistic. There were many parts of the plot that didn't add up to me and those unrealistoc parts dampned the book for me.

Out of the whole series I would say this book is 3rd and the 1st book is last. To be fair even in the book Ana Huang states that it is cheesy so I don't really fault her. I just didn't particularly get entranced by this book because of that, but her writing intruged me enough to rread thhe whole series so.

This one took a little bit to get into but once I did, I really enjoyed the love story peppered with violence and crime and mystery. I adore all of the female characters in this book and their slightly less than moral men. This book kept me up far later than I should’ve been because it was addictive and interesting. The spice takes awhile to show up and is only moderate but I still enjoyed it.

I have been impatiently waiting to read this book since King of Wrath. I loved it. It definitely lived up to my expectations.

Stella and Christian concoct a “mutually beneficial” arrangement to fake date in order for Stella to grow her social media account and for Christian to have a plus one to his many business events. But when Stella’s stalker resurfaces, Christian would do anything to keep her safe.

This book is a little darker than her other series, hence the twisted in the title. Christian is ruthless. There are morally grey men and then there are straight up bad guys with a tendency towards violence. I’m not sure you could totally say that Christian is a bad guy, but he certainly isn’t a good one.

I’m a sucker for fake dating. I’m a sucker for a “he falls first and harder”. I love seeing Christian pine after Stella. The spice is this was impeccable. Definitely my favorite spice from this author so far. While King of Greed was beautiful and made me cry, this book was faster, more fun, and just a blast in general.

Warning. There is stalking, home invasion, kidnapping, murder, beating, roofie/drugging, and probably some other things I missed. This sounds like a lot, but honestly 90% of the book is fine, there is just a couple scenes that are violent.

I had a great time. Super fun read. Ana Huang may just be my favorite romance author of all time.

"No wonder his name was Christian. He had a major God complex."

I had fun with this, actually. I love the connection between Christian and Stella and the "slow-burn" of their relationship. It did took a while for them to get together but I don't mind the waiting because it was worth it. I love how Stella seriously changed all of Christian's perspective when it comes to romance/love. The highest point in this book for me was the interaction between the four girls together with their respective partners. Christian's POV during Josh's apartment warming was the best! I was smiling so wide the whole two chapters! (I realized how much I love Josh as well...)

The lowest point for me was the shoot out between Christian and his "rival" (lol) which I find kinda corny in a way. It was also not much of a plot twister (same with Stella's stalker). I can say Ana Huang tried with that path but not really that something I like because I'd love if there' subtle clues in the story. They just explained how the stalker can be "someone close" in the end once it was revealed.

Twisted Series Placements: Hate > Games > Lies > Love

I love how I started listening to the series' audiobook during my Feb Fukuoka trip and ended the series' audiobook back again in Fukuoka but June now. <3

Oh my god what a great end for this serie ! Ana didn’t disappoint
I love Christian and Stella so much (well I love all of Ana Huang’s FMC that’s for sure)

Loves everything about this book, the plot, the characters and the epilogue 🥹

Christian just entered my top 2 fav twisted man with Ryhs !  I love a man who can hack everything and everyone… that’s hot…

I enjoyed the plot twist but i think the book is tied with 2nd place as far as favorites go in the twisted series. I can’t decide if I like twisted love more or less than this one. Christian obviously a very nice morally grey character. Improved the book 100%. I’d recommend if you’ve never read like the fmc having a stalker trope.
