This book is a great way to start conversations about bullying and misunderstandings. the children in the pre-k class love these books and start to read them out loud to one another.

Piggie find a big ball, but a big took it away from her. Gerald goes out to get his friend's ball back, but quickly returns because he discovers how big the big guy is.

Some great expressions on the characters, but not a favourite Elephant and Piggie for me. Mini-Me said she loved it, though, so it gets an extra star.

My favourite of the last few Elephant and Piggy books--it's cute, funny, and entirely kid-friendly, which I haven't always found, for example, "We are in a Book?!" to be.

I love Elephant and Piggie. They are such amazing friends through all sorts of scenarios. Elephant keeps Piggie grounded and Piggie helps Elephant think/move outside of his box. Just a wonderful combination of character traits and they make for such funny books. And you know that they are good, they both won 2013 Early Reader Nerdy Awards!!!
