Love this series, so fun and I enjoy the cast of chaotic but loveable characters. It’s a pretty fast read, took me only a few days to finish and I would read chunks of it at a time.

I loved Book 1. Christmas Notch is where I want to live! In book 2, we get Kallum (or Callum, as he says later...) and Winnie Baker. We are back, shooting another movie for the Hope Channel. This time, they are going with a spicier one, and since Kallum's sex tape leaked, he's perfect for the role.

Winnie is recently divorced and wants to move on from her wholesome image. So, she joins as the female lead.

We get cameos from Nolan and Bee, and the elusive 3rd member of the group, Issac, shows his face, too!

I liked the first part of this book, but part 2 was lacking. I would love to see Issac find his new happiness after losing his wife years ago.

Why do the epilogues have to be about Teddy? I honestly don't want to see a book about him,

I really liked the first half of this book but the surprise pregnancy caught me off guard. I really dislike that trope in rom coms and I probably should have looked into it before reading, so that’s on me.

I think it would have been a more satisfying character arc for Winnie to get an abortion when she found out she was pregnant. Then there could have been something else that drew Kallum and her back together and the epilogue could have included them getting pregnant on their own accord.

The spice was great! Winnie coming to terms with her sexuality and working through her purity culture trama is 10/10, I just wish the 2nd half took a different turn.
