slightly repetitive (there's only so many times you can read about a person falling in love and then watching the relationship go to shit with the addition of a couple of kids before you start to get bored) there was also an annoying amount of pulling-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps propaganda which good for them i guess but i wasn't aware drug addiction could be cured by sheer willpower and some detoxing. that being said, i tore through this book. most of the characters were engaging and flawed, which i appreciated, and the book explored a lot of complex topics. side note: i absolutely adored yazz
