Actually from the Delphi Classics Complete Arthur Conan Doyle. About the 5th time I’ve been through the Holmes opus. Last time was over 20 years ago.
Always fun.

This series took me so long to finish, but it was totally worth it! I loved every story, especially 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' and the short story 'The Adventure of Charles August Milverton'. I watched the BBC series Sherlock on Netflix and really enjoyed it. All the episodes are loosely based on some of the cases they solve in the books.

I finished all of the Sherlock Holmes’ cases and I don’t know why I feel like crying, I’m so happy to have read them and if it weren’t for BBC’s Sherlock I might never have done it. I really liked it.

Good fun classic. Dated cultural reference on occasion but thoroughly enjoyable. Valley of fear a v entertaining diversion from the more formulaic SH template.
