Captivating Story

Magic in the Flesh is a second instalment in Cartomancer’s series.

Sunday has to go with the Soldiers to learn how to control and hunt with wolves. But she just doesn’t want to give up the idea of curing her newfound condition. In between of searching the library and helping others with dangerous creatures, she learns more secrets. And she can’t leave now without helping her new friends.

It ends with a cliffhanger of a sort - but the main story line for the book is finished.

Marina Finlayson writes light and engaging stories. Set in Australian Blue Mountains the story sometimes brings eerie vibes, but light-hearted humour and banter between characters and their close friends, it’s turned into fuzzy warm blanket.

It’s a fast paced, laugh out loud adventure I couldn’t put it down until the end. And now I want more! I hope the final book - Magic from the Heart - will be out soon.
