This was just not a good book. I couldn't even finish it. There's not much else to say.

This was such a hard book to review...

The storyline was good, but the characters - I think I ended up feeling sorry for them when I really just wanted to fall in love with them...
Jason was a bit of a clueless douche... for someone majoring in psychology he really didn't get why Blaire was p'd with him so much, and it wasn't until after the 60% mark that he picked up his game and I actually started to like him...
And Blaire was such a pushover... she totally accepted Jason's explanations without question... honestly I'd be like 'I'm gonna need some proof of that dude!'

Also, I felt like I didn't connect to the writing, maybe it's just me as there are plenty of other reviews that have said otherwise but, I just didn't feel it ya know... the ending was quite abrupt too, it didn't give me that satisfied feeling I usually get when I finish a good book.

On the whole it was an ok read, it pulled at the heart strings and dealt with some situations well, and there were scenes I loved too... but I'm still pleased it was free at my time of purchase... I'd recommend it to New Adult readers 18+ as there are a few sex scenes and bad language throughout.

This book is largely ineractions with other people. For a large majority of the book, it seems like Blair and Jason don't even interact, we just see them with their friends and/or family.

Jason is an incosiderate, immature boy. A lot of things he said/did/thought rubbed me the wrong way. Blair forgave and let him off the hook way too easily. She just believed what he said immediately, with little explanation, when she had been all worked up over it.

And there were heartbreaking events back to back. Talk about a downer; and it just ended on that sad, terrible note. They really didn't even talk about anything or work things out.

This book was an information overload on details, and things that didn't matter to the plot. Like scenery, clothes, and history that put the characters in a negative light.

It was good. It wasn't my favorite though. Her sisters husband is an ass. I like seeing Jason and Blair but they definitely had issues.

This was an ok book. There were points that I just wanted to smack the characters on the back of the head, but there were some good moments, too, and a few heartbreaking ones. Not my usual cup of tea, but I'm glad I read it.
