This volume was all over the place. It introduced new Investigators and some of them being obnoxious are already getting on my nerves! Every time I read about an Arima Fan getting jealous of Haise but masking it as him being dangerous, I just want to punch them in their face!!

In the Ghoul world, Shuu is depressed over Kaneki's death and is seriously unstable. But this volume talked so much about the Tsukiyama family, it became tiresome. It wasn't even Shuu we were seeing, mostly it was Kanae and I don't give two hoots about what happens to him, sorry!

The only portions I truly looked forward to were Haise trying to learn about himself, Kaneki Ken. With the way his hair is getting black(er), I think the memories are going to come back soon. He's seriously such a sweetie though, not once did he get mad at Hinachan for calling him Oniichan, and brought books despite her being a Ghoul.

We met the finger-popping-pioneer lmao. Also, it's a treat to watch Urie go WTF upon watching Haise fight off the Ghouls. But that face, when Haise is up in the air, jeez that face was creepy, I wonder if it was bad drawing or meant to be that.. And the huge man in the robe, is it.. Amon Koutarou?!?

i really liked the reports and letters from the characters at the end of the chapters, but sui ishida could've done a better job of reintroducing characters. i've been reading the manga for days, every day and still had trouble remembering some characters, their names, where i knew them from etc. and them being older now makes it even more difficult. on top of trying to remember old characters, there's about 10 new characters per chapter, it seems like. it's just too difficult to follow along. also, i don't know if it was something that we should know by default, or it will be revealed later on, but without the comments from other readers, we basically get no explanation about how hairu ihei came to such a high rank that young (she's the same age as the qs squad) and how she was at the front line of the owl operation
