Ich habe es doch getan. Ich habe den zweiten Teil der „All the Boys I Loved Before“ Reihe gelesen.

Just like the first book in this series, I didn’t hate it. I also didn’t love it. It was just sort of... alright? This seemed to have much less of an actual plot than the first one, and even then the first one didn’t feel like it had all that much of a plot either.

I’m not a fan of Love Triangles, so the introduction of John felt a little forced, even if I did enjoy his character. I also just don’t really like Peter and Lara Jean together, so their breaking up and getting back together didn’t really feel all that important.

I’m still going to finish this series, because I’m a little bit invested in finding out how it’s all going to end, I just hope that book three has a bit more substance than this one did.

Also, why does this end in not feel like an ending either? I don’t understand?

Not quite as good as the first book, but still fun. I definitely preferred the fluffier, cuter atmosphere of the first book over this book's more serious, tense tone.

Jealousy arcs aren't fun. I've never enjoyed the whole deal of a couple finally getting together and then one or both of them getting jealous over their new partner's past. I understand it and I understand the need for tension, but it felt so overdone and forced here.

I also thought the whole love triangle with John was super dumb and forced and only served to bore me as it padded out the novel's length.

I'm going to finish the series out and now, finally, it's October 2nd, and the fun can really begin.
