This is a fabulous little guide and although I don't feel I would be comfortable hosting a dinner party, the thought doesn't fill me with dread as much as it would have previously.
William Hanson's wit comes through his writing and makes it all the more enjoyable. Teamed with some wonderful party game ideas and the history of certain customs it is wonderful addition to any budding entertainers bookshelves - just don't let your guests see ðŸ¤
