Uniquely Weird

****Spoliers****
I couldn't get into the sorry. I tried but I had to force myself to finish it. Brenda is a poor young woman whose family is starving. She sets out to find a bear for meat and fur to keep her family warm and fed. She finds a white polar bear (that she shots with an arrow) who gives her gold in exchange to marry him. She lies to her family and gives them the gold. Each day she spends with the bear talking telepathically and each night she spends with a mysterious man that ties her up so she never sees his face.

This story is similar to a mythology that that I can't recall. Instead of lighting the candle to see his face she doesn't and he wakes to tell her the curse is broken and explains who he is and what happens to him. The story ends with them having sex and planing to move.

I love shifters story but this one wasn't enough for me.

There was a spelling error where the author used "four" instead of "for".

I can't say this was a good read, it's short and it just didn't make me crave the hero or even get me attached to the characters. I felt like I was reading a creative writing story from teenager.
There isn't enough time to really like the characters.
