Phew. The final story, and it was a great way to wrap it up. Penny caught & answered most of my questions, and gave me a neat & tidy happy ending.

So first, I learned how Scarlett faired after she ran away with Ben as a teenager was so sad. Ben for sure took advantage of that girl.  He was portrayed to be such a great young man, but man... that was unexpected.

Billy really went thru the ringer, too! He had to watch his love be with another man. He had to hide his true self, and he  had to keep secrets and gosh. I'm glad he & Jethro finally cleared shit up.
Just all of the b.s. these two went thru to be together. This was such a good ending.

I loved it when Billy proposed. That was so cute & kinda funny.
I liked all the cute innuendos during the epilogue and meeting all the offspring.
I liked seeing Scarlett feel at home and apart of an actual family.
I loved how Razor got what was coming to him.

This entire series was a roller coaster ride, but I'm so glad that Scarlett & Billy wrapped it up. Their story was the most heartwrenching & emotionally draining.
It was good to leave us with a bit of a hang over. Yanno?

Anyways. Read this series

I loved this one! Maybe because it’s the end of the series, so now the happy endings have been spread out, but Billy and Scarlett are my favorites. I also have a soft spot for Italy and love all the family shenanigans haha.

Billy finally got his ending, or begining. ~sigh~ I am so sad to see this series end. The Winston's are all coupled off. It was a beautiful wrap up, everyone had found their happiness. I will miss them

I was really looking forward to this book since Scarlet and Billy was in the background of so many books and I was always curious as to their story. It's a little underwhelming, but I can't help but root for them and I still like them as flawed characters that just had a lot of trauma to work through. I'm also not all the way convinced by the way Scarlet handled the whole thing with Razor, but I guess we should just believe that it worked. I did laugh out loud at some of the schemes and I loved the narrators for this book. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the ending of this series.

"Scarlet was still the color of my soul. But now that we were finally together, she also painted my days and nights in the exquisite spectrum and uncontainable brilliance of her spirit."

Sorry if my review is a mess. I'm still a blabbering mess and my emotions are all over the place.
There are so many cute moments that will make your heart burst. So many scenes that will tug at your heart. So many swoon worthy moments and I will go through again and again because this book is perfect ending of series.
I don't want to give anything away, but seeing good things happen to Scarlet and Billy makes my heart swell. Cletus was once again my favorite scene stealer. ;)
I hate to say goodbye to something I greatly love but I thank the Penny Reid for this series and the series to come.
