This kicks off the first the arc for this Rebirth series. Kate is working on a case assigned to her by Batsy. She is trying to track down the seller of the last batches of Monster serum, with help from Julia. I've never seen this character before by I really like her from her part in this book.
The search leads Kate to a place she has a serious connection to. I'm not sure if this is something from a prior series or if this is the first time we'll be hearing about this story.
Either way, I'm excited! I love this version of Kate, the art is gorgeous and I'm trusting Bennett and Tynion IV completely!

The Rebirth issue was a little stronger, but this is a solid start to the new series. Excited to see how Bennett and Tynion dig into the character.
