Lunch Lady finds it fishy that the school's gym teacher seems to have disappeared on the same day as a visiting author has come to Thompson Brook School. The author's long-standing vendetta against gym teachers is to blame for his disappearance. As always, this Lunch Lady text was so humorous and engaging. Lunch Lady and Betty are great at ensuring that justice (and lunch!) are served.

This time Krosoczka's awesome Lunch Lady super heroine takes on a evil grumpy picture book author (ha ha!). My favorite part is the fluffy bunny vs. gym teacher battle.

Love the black/white/yellow art style, love the humor. Would definitely recommend as a Wimpy Kid read-alike.

Fun, easy, long-format comic book. The Lunch Lady must save the gym teacher from the evil author and his attacking fluffy bunnies.

I adore Jarret Krosoczka's lunch lady series. Not only is the gadgetry hilarious, but the story line is fast paced read. These books are excellent for reluctant readers who want fiction that fits their juvenile sensibilities.

The number of times I've checked this book in at work and the number of times the cover made me giggle, I finally had to check this one out and see why the kids love it so much, and honestly it was a pretty great story.  First, the lunch lady!  With her taco night vision goggles and that bunny battle.  I was laughing so hard.  But then, the plot twist where the author kidnaps and hypnotized the gym teachers to be his servants!  I loved this juvenile graphic novel and I honestly bet my kids will too!
4 stars!
