Book 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12 of 2023 Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery

When my daughter Shayla was cast to play Anne Shirley in Acting Collective upcoming play, I knew I needed to revisit these classic novels. They truly are timeless with characters who live and breathe off the page and into our hearts.

Reading the Anne series always calms me and reminds me of a simpler time. While Montgomery's books can often feel like a collection of short stories, I really enjoyed Anne of Avonlea. Onto the Island!

I love Miss Lavendar Lewis.

Anne is growing up, I’m sad that she don’t really imagine things often now

I picked up Anne Of Green Gables a couple of weeks ago on a whim and was surprised that I highly enjoyed it, so I thought I would continue on with this series! I thought this installment was okay, for me it seemed to lack a bit of the charm that was in the first one and I felt like we didn't get to see much of Anne's true character.

I might come back to this later, but I’m just not super interested in it right now.
