Sometimes you just wanna see all your favorite superheroes viciously slaughtered in a dark, brutal zombie apocalypse. Tom Taylor clearly gets that and crafted a pitch perfect superhero horror comic.
Finally got around to one of the best DC stories ever. DCeased is such a great and interesting plot that has consequences. So many of the forever characters are affected in this story and that is its draw. Each panel and page you have no idea what is going to happen because there are so many plot points one would never think could be put onto page that happen within the first few.

Better than expected. I thought superman and batman going zombie would get stupidly out of hand before the halfway point, but this keeps things under control. It's entertaining, but not particularly memorable.
Zombies take over DC. It’s all very exciting and as it’s Elseworlds (or whatever it’s called now) you don’t know who’s going to get got next.
But - they keep worrying about what if Bad Thing happens?
Then Bad Thing happens and rather than taking immediate action they talk about how Bad the Bad Thing is for a couple of pages until Bad Thing becomes Very Bad Thing. Ultimately, this just annoyed me.
