As soon as I read The Hazel Wood I wished there was a book of all of the Hinterland stories. Thankfully, my wish was granted and I could not wait to get my hands on this! As with the other books in the series, it did not disappoint- it’s whimsical, deliciously dark, and I absolutely loved it. Another great installment to the series.

Also, I definitely recommend getting your hands on a physical copy if you can- the illustrations are stunning.

A fabulous mix of horror and fairytale style writing. It truly had me convinced at multiple points that the stories were real grimms fairytales!!!
