I give this holiday novella 4.5 stars.
What I Liked: I loved the writing as well as the story which had me hooked from the start. I also really liked the characters, the excellent pacing, and the perfect amount (for me) of descriptiveness! I was especially happy with how up front and genuine/tender Matthew was with Faith. My heart melted! The smexiness was pretty hot too!
What I Didn't Like: The middle 50% started to get a tad stale and predictable. Plus Faith's internal dialog in regards to her trust issues started to become broken-record-esque. I also felt the ending was unsatisfying, and the reason behind the lower rating.
Overall Impression: Ultimately, I felt this was a very sexy, fun, and enjoyable read. It's by far the best "holiday" romance I've read. Certainly a novella I plan to keep/re-read and recommend often.
