The author's writing is absolutely gorgeous and the story is woven together so thoughtfully. I was left with a few plot questions at the end, but overall a phenomenal read.

Thank you Goodreads and the publisher for this advanced copy to read in exchange for an honest review.

What a mesmerizing and breath-taking story set during two time periods in Russian history!!
Sometimes I struggle with dual timelines because I tend to be more interested in one over the other. However, that is not the case with "The Last Russian Doll." I literally could not stop reading and I had to know how these two timelines would be woven together.

One timeline is told from the point of view of Antonia (Tonya) starting in 1915 and which includes the Russian revolution and the aftermath. The second timeline is told from the point of view of Rasia (Rosie) in 1991 and she is trying to uncover the secrets of her past.

A unique and powerful book filled with forbidden love, betrayal, political upheaval, despair, loss, survival, hope and porcelain dolls.

This is one of the best historical fiction books I have ever read!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
