Deals with some dark themes, but the characters continue to search for hope in their own ways. I struggled with the changing vantage points at first, but the unique voices gave more depth to each character and created a more powerful overall effect.

I was pretty lost in the beginning and at times with the time passing in the book. Some parts of it were unrealistic and so it was hard to follow. The writing in some parts was fantastic though-the author did a great job depicting mental illness and love.
