I honestly enjoyed this book much more than the original, I thought that the writing was a lot stronger and Carrie a much more interesting protagonist. It always made me think and rethink about the character in the other book, their reasoning and why they did the things they did, it really did help me understand the Sinclairs much more, on a deeper level, and I think that a good prequel is supposed to do that, this book is a credit to the family

My favorite part was that there is a character named Pfeff. Lawrence Pfefferman technically, but he goes by Pfeff.

Very easy read with very unlikeable characters. We Were Liars wasn’t my favourite either but I do quite like the twists and turns the author takes.
