This was amusing. Probably not a book I am going to long remember, but it kept me entertained.

A book made of just emails? Uh, YES PLEASE! I’m a sucker for letters and emails when they’re incorporated into books, and I thought it was so unique that this entire book was written through emails. I’m so glad I pulled this one out of my TBR because I bought it so long ago that I actually forgot I had it…

It was an easy, lighthearted read that I really enjoyed. I binged this so fast! I did get annoyed with Nadine and Dolly and all of their gossip at the office, but overall, it was an adorable read, and it makes me want to read all of Meg Cabot’s books. I haven’t read a light romance in a long time, and this was the perfect book to get my toes dipped into the romance genre again!

I loved this book! It is written completely in emails, so for me, it was a super easy read! I thought it had a great love story in it, and even had a little mystery to it. While reading this, I could totally picture some of these things happening in real life, and know for sure that some do, (you can only imagine with emails, lol)... This should definitely be made into a movie!!

Cute, fun read from Meg Cabot. A bit silly, but a quick, fun read.

A delightful frothy romance written entirely in emails to and from our heroine and her friends, love interest, coworkers, family, and acquaintances. It is well-written and engaging. The protagonists are likable, even endearing. I didn't think anything could be lighter than Sophie Kinsella, but apparently, Meg Cabot has managed to make her adult novels even lighter (if this is representative) and just as fun. It is utterly predictable and I usually do like more depth and emotion, but I couldn't resist the charm. It is full of cultural references (who knew Winona Ryder dated Chris Noth?!) which dated it considerably, but was also part of its quirky nostalgic appeal, for me. I can't resist going on to another one immediately.

Kind of a goofy story but a fun, light read. I didn't love the email format of the story, felt a little forced and cheesy, especially reading it in 2017 when a lot of the lingo and pop culture references are totally out of date. Still a fun book to read if you're looking for something different.
