This was a fun novella that expands a bit more on a character introduced in Words of Radiance. I had a good time with Lift—she’s not my favorite, but it was nice to dig a little deeper into her story. And I enjoyed the expansion of the world and characters that we got here. A quick read that adds to the overall series in a meaningful way!

This was a nice short little story. It was good to have a break between the really long main Stormlight books. I enjoyed Lift as a character, and I look forward to more of her story.

I really love the novellas. I actually think I like them more than the main books. Lift is a complete rascal and I rather like Wyndle. I’d happily read another book on these guys!
