A short and sweet return to the world of Anna Strong. It’s been a while since the previous series book came out, but Stein weaves in enough backstory easily to remind me of what happened before. While the main plot was not as riveting as some from earlier books (and had nothing to do with the supernatural world), I really enjoyed the chance to revisit some favorite characters and I hope Stein will follow up with more stories in the future.
