These three comics are a set, starting with Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, and finally Avengers. As you can probably guess, each mentioned makes an appearance in each comic, to glorious results.

Over the course of the comics you genuinely do come to empathize with Malice and everything she’s been through, despite the pain and destruction she caused. She makes a solid redeemable villain who is taken to task for what she’s done yet finds redemption through herself in the end, with the aid of her sisters in the Dora, eventually.

I don’t know which was my favorite of the three. I liked them all. Spider-Man had Peter Parker’s teenage sass, I loved Storm in X-Men, and how can you go wrong with the Avengers? I thought Okorafor brought all of these worlds together swimmingly and seamlessly and created a damn fine story doing it.

And I loved the art. Slightly reminiscent of older school comics yet still modern, I loved the detail and the coloring and how everything seemed to pop off the page.

I have no complaints about these comics! I’m definitely coming to love the world of Wakanda, that’s for sure!

Much better than the first part. Okorafor addresses some of the issues I had with Malice. Much better.
