it’s made it very hard to look past the casual use of slurs in the book. i get that it was once normalized, but i struggle to ignore them

I do not have the connection to Sylvia Plath that many folks do although one cannot help but appreciate her writing.
Not particularly a collection of poems that went with the bright spring day that I read them on - although perhaps a great foil.
