This wasn't necessarily a bad book. It just wasn't for me.
I loved the concept, but the characters felt very flat to me and I couldn't really connect to them.
The pacing was also strange and made me feel quite disoriented at times. I felt indifferent by the end.

This is definitely one of the best books I've read this year! I'm so happy that I've found a new favourite! Need to buy all the rest in this series!

It read younger, even if it was marketed for adults. I liked the sisterhood, but most characters feel a bit one dimensional and I lost interest the more I read.

I liked the world that Sarah Beth Durst created in The Queen of Blood. I thought the premise was interesting, but the characters fell flat for me. It's a good fantasy read if you want something under 400 pages with no graphic sex scenes.
