Loved this book more than the first! It was romantic and action packed!
What a great book and end to a story! It appears to be a duology. It wrapped up nicely though it left me wanting more!! I loved how this book explored the Lowlands and X! Zoe is a wonderful character who keeps growing. It's a great read for those in high school! Some mild language and violence!
Zoe is 17 and in high school so that limits where the story can go. I would have liked a epilogue set 5 or more years in the future! I would also love another book set in the Lowlands! There are so many characters I want to know more about!!! Maybe the author will surprise us later with more books set in this universe!

This was enjoyable. At times I was confused and not fully invested but by the end I was gripped.

I was expecting this sequel so much, so excited as I had loved the edge of everything so so very much. And this book did not disappoint me. God, how I love the story, the characters and the writing... Going further into the lowlands was so interesting, but especially going further into the characters and their personal story. I got attached to and felt for so much characters, and even more to the characters from book 1, and especially for Zoe and X. I love their characters and relationship so much, and I'm gonna miss them so much. I'm gonna miss the characters and the story. In a way, I would have wanted it to be even longer even though I really liked the pace and was hooked in reading it in one swoop. I would have loved to have more after the epilogue. Jeff Giles, I would love to have an after epilogue, a few more pages just to know what happens to all the characters a while after (months? years?) the ending, in the overlands and in the lowlands.
I just genuinely loved this duology, and I think it now is one of my favorite book series.

After X is sent back to the Lowlands he starts his plan to find his mother and get back to Zoe.

I don't know what is in these books. The characters are amazingly written but the plot is kind of insane. Also, some of the details about the characters are just off the wall. But it is so amazing. These books made me laugh out loud and giggle. If you want a book to read that will make you happy, pick up this series.

Better than the first book, but still too tropey for my tastes.

A fitting conclusion to a good duology. Definitely worth the read and all the teen angst and love at first sight.

Not as good as The Edge of Everything, but it was great to have more to the story.

The thing I loved most about this book is much the same as I loved about the first. The banter and dialogue between the characters. The mish mash of personalities, that were so real and vividly crafted, crashing into each others lives and worlds in ways that so completely make no sense but are also so perfect. This is not a literary masterwork. I don't think it was meant to be. But it was solidly entertaining, humorous, and full on from page one to the end. I'll read Giles' books again. He didn't disappoint!
