This was my absolute favorite from the Chestnut Springs series - anyone who has this as their least favorite, thank you, because that leaves more for me and Beau is my book boyfriend for life.
I seriously adored every single second of this book. It shares the same reasons why Flawless and Powerless so much - the storyline is so consistent. The drama that happens in the 3rd act ties up the story incredibly and had me gasping the entire time.
I LOVED the love in this book. It was so refreshing watching them become somewhat friends and genuinely learning each other aka falling in love instead of jumping right into it. It just felt like a book if that makes sense - all my favorite parts of watching them realize they really do love the other based on learning each other rather than hooking up first or just because of looks. The affection and love confessions in this book were so heartwarming, I couldn't get enough of that damn hand in the back pocket if I tried. I loved how the story progressed so much it just made so much sense and kept me on my toes. I loved the actions that were done for the other, it was so sweet watching them do things for the other instead of just saying it.
I ADORE Beau and Bailey together and as their own characters - I loved the theme of growth and choosing yourself over the labels life gives you. I loved Beau and how he was about her - so protective, sweet, and the perfect obsessive I like my fictional men. How he never for one second gave up on her and actually showed her what it's like to be wanted. I adored Bailey - so fun, funny, sweet and supportive. I found alot of myself in her and how I wish I handled life back when I was her age.
Overall this book makes my chest ache with how much I loved every second. I can't tell you how much I loved getting to watch these characters fall in love with each other, esp in more than just a sexual way, and viewing how they loved the other and the other learned to realize they deserved it and more. I loved how BeauBailey were a fun couple with so much love and banter between them. This is a couple I will forever be thinking about and how wonderful it was to witness them. I adore this book more than I can even say in this long review and think it was the perfect ending to Chestnut Springs.
Please Elsie just give me a small novella of where they are now IM BEGGING.
