‘Archie Horror Presents: Chilling Adventures’ with stories and art by Cullen Bunn, Evan Stanley, Magdalene Visaggio and many others is an anthology of horror comics in the Archie universe.

Like the old horror comics, these stories have a narrator or guide. Sometimes it is Madam Satan or Jinx or talking cat Salem. The stories range from comic to gruesome, but all have a horror tint to them. From scary bedtime stories to zombie Jughead to a tricky escape from Hell itself, these stories feature characters from the Archie universe. Included is a great cover gallery.

Stories range from pretty good to pretty poor as in most anthologies. It was fun to see various characters in perilous situations and the art was consistently decent. This is a good read for October.

Some of the stories in this collection were really good - particularly Chilling Adventures of Salem - but most felt like filler. I think this might be the end of my love affair with Archie Horror, not with a bang, but with a whimper.

The art was nice, but most of the stories were just ok. I didn't like the way stories were put in-between another.

This was fine. I liked some of the stories better than others. I did feel like none of the characters were in character though. Nice read for Halloween, but I wouldn’t really recommend it.
