What a disappointment. I suppose people that like anything "New Adult" in style might like it.

Hannah has never forgotten the love of her life, Brody, or the way he left their hometown – and her – without so much as a backward glance. But when a deadly virus kills most of the earth’s population, Hannah finds herself almost unwillingly missing Brody. Then he rides back into town, and Hannah’s life, threatening to destroy the walls she has built around her heart to keep him out. Hannah has survived the apocalypse, but she’s not sure she can survive Brody breaking her heart again.

The phrase “not if you were the last man on earth” takes a whole new meaning in a post-apocalyptic society. In Apocalypse Cowboy, it may take the near-death of humanity to bring Hannah and Brody back together, but Eve Langlais doesn’t make their reunion easy. While Hannah may not want to confront old hurts, with the world around her almost deathly silent, she can’t ignore Brody. I loved watching Brody work to win back Hannah, almost as much as I enjoyed the way the two of them steamed up the page. Ms. Langlais definitely knows how to turn up the heat in a room with a sizzling love scene! Overall, I found Apocalypse Cowboy to be a fast-paced, red-hot read that entertained me the whole way through. I’m looking forward to reading more of Ms. Langlais’s work.

I'm not a zombie book kind of girl but as it was by Eve Langlais I had to give it a bash. So glad I did!!

I loved the opening line "the apocalypse starting with a sneeze and a cough". The rest of the book is just as atmospheric.

Hannah is trying to keep the remaining members of her family safe after the virus kills off most of the worlds population. The virus eithers leaves you alone, kills you or turns you into a Zombie. Getting bitten does nothing except pee you off!!!!

Brody, her ex, returns to town to face the decimation that he had put off for far too long.

I did thank that Hannah was too stubborn for her own good. She didn't want to leave with Brody but she constantly throws in his face that he left her behind. Beth, her sister, is a totally self absorbed teen. I could gladly of smacked her at points!!!

There were some sad parts like when Brody went to his own house but a lot of humour mixed in as well and some real hot chemistry between Hannah and Brody!

Superb read!!!!
