This book was absolutely horrible from start to finish. I am not a writer by any means, but I do read quite often and the characters felt so flat. The story was mostly about Grayson and Veronica rather than Sabrina and Ian. Additionally, Spencer is the most unrealistic straight male I’ve ever heard of. “Sounds like a Christmas miracle” WHAT GUY SAYS THAT?!?! And then Ian with the line, “I’ve always felt lucky but I’ve never felt luckier than I do tonight.” Hallmark movies even have more depth than this novel. Additionally, the whole plot felt rushed between Ian and Sabrina AND I didn’t really feel like there was a lot of chemistry. It went straight from “we like each other” to him awkwardly kissing her after the movies. The only reason I finished this book is because I was 200 pages in and I felt obliged. My first experience with this author and I will not be reading any more books by them.

Um livro leve e fofo, vale a pena pelas descrições do Plaza e de Nova Iorque que nos transportam diretamente para lá.
Infelizmente achei a história um pouco repetitiva e previsível.
Gostei mas não amei.

Such a sweet story! Loved the dual timelines. This book actually had me pausing to google some of the storyline, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a lot of Kay’s portion really happened! A Christmas season trip to The Plaza is now on my vision board. There truly is nothing like energy of New York City at Christmastime.

This was such a wonderful read! It gave me warm Christmas feels, and the romance in it was written so well. I was so invested in this story that I could not put it down! Highly recommend!

A nice story to read during the Christmas holidays. It reminded me of a Hallmark movie.

A feel good holiday romance set in the Grand Plaza Hotel with all the magic of Christmas in New York City. I also really enjoyed the dual timeline structure as ghostwriter Sabrina gets to learn about a former Plaza butler's life working for high society residents, and in particular the author of the Eloise books while finding romance herself with the British secretary helping her employer. Great on audio, this is a fun, light-hearted PG love story.
